Ezra Powel, House’s new patient, collapse in his lab. Ezra is a renowned medical research pioneer. House decides to put Ezra though some test and the team is confused about what his diagnosis is. Her health continues to go down hill. Ezra begs the team to stop running tests and just let him die.

The team starts running tests on a patient named Clancy. Clancy is a seven year old boy who had been admitted to the hospital for having rectal bleeding. He tells the team that he has been abducted by aliens. The teams becomes very puzzled by finding a metal object in his neck and than they start to take Clancy’s alien abduction story a little more serious. Meanwhile, Cameron finds out that Cuddy and Wilson have not told House about his previous case which leads to House giving up on his young patient.

Finally House recuperates from being shot by several gunshots, and decides he is going to start back working. He chooses to take on two patients named Richard and Caren. Richard is a patient who is paralyzed from a brain cancer surgery from eight years ago. He drove his motorized wheelchair into a swimming pool head first. Caren is a young woman that is paralyzed from a yoga session that went wrong. As House tries to treat the patients, the team observes that he has changed the way he is treating the patients.
